Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya (IKSVV), Khairagarh, in Chhattisgarh state was established in 1956 for providing education in arts, music, etc.  The university offers courses starting from Certificate level to graduate, postgraduate and research. It’s a member university of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Any student or scholar willing to pursue a course in arts or music can join the university and stay in the University campus for study or research. The oldest & priceless classical recitals are kept in the Listening Room of the University with utmost care.  Students & Scholars of Music, Musicians, Musicologists, Art Critics and Music Promoters make their presence in the campus to educate and train the latest and the best techniques in Indian Classical Music, Indian Classical Dance, Visual Arts and Literature.
